Inspectors from Al-Shawqeya branch municipality in Makkah raided a random market and razed number of illegal stalls that were selling rotten fruit and vegetables. A number of street peddlers who were violating the residency law were also arrested. Some 80 stalls were removed and fruit and vegetables that were not good for human consumption destroyed.
