JEDDAH – Some 18,000 Saudi women were found to have fake employment in private sector companies to help keep these firms in the Nitaqat (Saudization) green zone. These women were registered in social insurance in a number of jobs, according to sources. The Ministry of Social Affairs cancelled social insurance assistance to these women after discovering the wrong-doing, the sources said. The sources said the women also deleted their records in the Ministry of Commerce to apply at the social insurance office to be reinstated as beneficiaries.
