An Asian housemaid burned to death in her blazing room inside her sponsor's multi-story house Sunday in Hofuf in eastern Saudi Arabia. The fire started in her room, said Col. Mansour Al-Dossary, spokesman of the Eastern Province Civil Defense that rushed a team to the Faisaliya District house when alerted and put out the fire “in six minutes.” The body was found wrapped in still burning blankets. “Early investigations indicate that the maid had problems with her family back home,” Col. Al-Dossary said. “However, criminal activity is not ruled out.”
