JEDDAH – “Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him was mercy for all. His love and teachings can unite Ummah and the whole humanity. Prophet Muhammad was greatest model of humility, the human race has ever seen. His humility changed the hearts and character of the ignorant Bedouins of Arabian Peninsula and made them exemplary people. To help humanity, Muslims should adopt his example, that will save them from decline and destruction,” said Syed Khaja Najmuddin while addressing the gathering of Majlis-e-Ilm-o-Adab, Jeddah on Friday at Al-Ruwais district. This month Majlis-e-Ilm-o-Adab's topic was “Humility”. Faisal Imtiyaz, who conducted the event gave reference to the following verses of the Holy Qur'an: “And do not turn your cheek (in contempt) toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.” (Holy Qur'an 31:18) In this regard, supporting his interpretations, he narrated many famous Sayings of the Holy Prophet. “Our Beloved Prophet became orphan at an early age. This bitter experience had a great impact on his life. For the orphans, that were always at the risk of persecution and exploitation under the scorching sun of poverty, carelessness and cruelty, the existence of the Prophet proved to be a shade. Prophet Muhammad created a society that championed orphans' rights on this planet,” said Syed Amir Naqvi. “We should inform our children about our Prophet's love for the children. This will not only elevate their mind but also make them better human being,” said Zafar Lakhnavi. The second session saw a Naat program.
