Riyadh — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, visited Tuesday evening injured security men from Najran Border Guard and police who are receiving treatment at the Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh. The men suffered injuries in sporadic clashes with Houthi militias at the southern borders of Jazan and Najran. The Crown Prince also visited two Indian expats who suffered injuries from shrapnel of a projectile fired from Yemeni territory. He also paid a visit to a King Fahd Security College cadet who was injured during training. The Crown Prince wished all the injured a speedy recovery and conveyed to them the wishes and prayers of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. He ordered that all care should be provided to the injured. He praised the high moral spirit he saw on their faces, stressing that the country is proud of them and their comrades in arms who are defending their homeland. The injured expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince. They said their injuries will not deter them from defending their homeland. The Crown Prince also inaugurated the burn unit at the Security Forces Hospital, which received two patients from the southern borders. He toured the specialized unit's sections for the treatment of burns, and visited injured security personnel. The Riyadh-based Security Forces Hospital has received 22 patients with serious injuries evacuated by air ambulance from the southern border since May 7, 2015. Fourteen of them have already been discharged.
