JEDDAH — Police arrested a gang of 10 imposters who posed as security officers to steal from expatriates. A 28-year-old Asian expatriate filed a report with police against an expatriate who accosted him into getting into his vehicle. Once in the car, he was surprised to find two security officers present. The officers restrained him and told him he was involved in a crime and that they must search him and take hold of his possessions. The men then left him in a deserted place warning him not to go to the police, Makkah Police spokesman Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi said. The expatriate gave the police a full description of the gang members and police were able to arrest them. The gang consisted of two Saudis, five Arabs and three Asian expatriates.
