Medical insurance for citizens under study

ABHA — Minister of Health Khaled Al-Falih said his ministry is studying modalities of providing medical insurance to all Saudi citizens. The medical insurance system started in the private sector and has been expanded to cover over 10 million Saudis, expatriates and their families. He said private sector employees and their families receive healthcare services via 2,521 service providers, 28 medical insurance companies and eight claims management companies.
