SINGAPORE — The Asian Football Confederation has confirmed Indonesia's immediate ban from all international football, including next week's 2018 World Cup qualifiers, because of government meddling in the country's domestic league. Indonesia was formally notified over the weekend that it had been suspended by football's world governing body FIFA and the AFC confirmed Wednesday the bans would include the World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup qualifiers. Indonesia had been drawn in Group F for the next round of matches, which doubles as qualifiers for both tournaments, but has been excluded from the competition. — Reuters
