CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management) has announced the GCC shortlist for CIMA Global Business Challenge (GBC) 2015. The global business competition is an annual event organized in partnership with Barclays. The GCC stage of the competition is supported by the Department of Finance - Government of Dubai, Emirates Global Aluminum, Unilever and BMMI. Six teams have been selected for the next stage of the competition. The shortlisted teams represent Heriot Watt University and Middlesex University, UAE and Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. The teams will now compete at the regional final on 14 June 2015, with the winner going on to represent their country at the global final in Warsaw, Poland, in August 2015.
The CIMA Global Business Challenge is a business competition for undergraduates around the world, designed to showcase talent in business management and identify young business leaders of the future. Competing teams are asked to put their business skills to the test by analyzing and solving a real-life corporate case study. — SG
