Factories razed for not relocating

DAMMAM — The municipality last week demolished four concrete factories because they were located in residential areas. East Dammam Municipality head Abdullah Al-Ahmad said all factories in residential areas were given a six-month period to relocate. The demolished factories had not complied with the order. The buildings were located in Al-Rakah District, Al-Qairawan District and two on Al-Jubail Highway.
