MUMBAI - “Tanu Weds Manu Returns,” the laugh riot starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, has given the Indian box office a much-needed boost by minting almost Rs22 crore ($3.5 million) within the first two days of its release, NDTV reported. The film is expected to recover its initial cost of Rs30 crore in the opening weekend itself. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film which is a sequel to the 2011 hit film, explores the ups and downs in the relationship of a married couple in a quirky way. Bollywood films are once again ruling the box office after a lean spell. Aamir Khan's “PK,” which released in China last Friday, has shattered box office records again to become the best performing Indian film abroad of all time.
