Published in The Saudi Gazette on 24 - 05 - 2015

SAUDI Arabia's leading luxury hotel, Rosewood Jeddah, has been acknowledged as the Kingdom's best hotel after winning two awards at this year's Middle East World Travel Awards in a prestigious ceremony in Dubai.

The landmark Jeddah property was crowned Saudi Arabia's Leading Business Hotel and the Middle East's Leading Luxury Hotel, recognizing the outstanding levels of personalized service the hotel delivers on a consistent basis to business travelers and holidaymakers to the Red Sea.
Votes were cast online by travel professionals around the world, who distinguished Rosewood Jeddah above all others in the competitive Saudi Arabian hospitality market.
Jeddah's ultra-luxury hotel came out on top in both categories at the evening event, held at the Four Seasons Resort in Dubai, reinforcing its position as one of the region's most celebrated hotels.
Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director of RosewoodJeddah gave praise to his loyal staff who have helped raise the bar of hotel service in Saudi Arabia for the last eight years.
“It is a real honour to take both the Middle East's Leading Luxury Hotel and Saudi Arabia's Leading Business Hotel back to our team in Jeddah and I'm looking forward to celebrating with them,” he said.
“Last year was a tremendous one for us and we are overwhelmed to have held the position as the Kingdom's leading hotel in both leisure and business.
The awards represent the culmination of our tireless efforts to provide the highest levels of service and excellence while constantly seeking to surpass our own achievements.”
The World Travel Awards acknowledges and rewards excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry, and are recognized globally as a trademark of quality where winners set the standard to which all others seek.
Rosewood Jeddah has been a consistent winner of independent awards around the region since it was won Saudi Arabia's Leading Hotel at the World Travel Awards in 2009.
Since then, the property has received a host of awards and was recognized by TripAdvisor.com, the world's largest travel website, as one of the top ten hotels in Saudi Arabia at the 2014 Traveller's Choice Awards.
Situated in the heart of Jeddah, Rosewood Jeddah is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. With 127 rooms and suites offering stunning views of the Red Sea, the plush hotel provides the backdrop of an unforgettable experience.
As the premier hotel in Jeddah, the stunning Rosewood Jeddah redefines modern elegance and offers unparalleled personal service and world-class amenities, including 24-hour butler service for each of the 127 guest rooms and suites. — SG
