MAKKAH — The Civil Defense teams were successful in extinguishing fire that broke out at a power station that feed parts of Rei Bakhsh district in Makkah on Saturday. Two cars stationed near the plant were gutted in the fire. Naif Al-Sharif, spokesman of the Civil Defense in Makkah, said that a number of fire units rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the fire and brought it under control. The electricity supply to the district has been restored, the Saudi Press Agency reported quoting the spokesman as saying.
