RIYADH — Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah, minister of the National Guard, opened the airport and headquarters of the National Guard Aviation First Brigade in Khashm Al-Aaan, east of Riyadh. He also launched the air defense installations and facilities on the premises spreading over an area of 3,600,000 square meters. The project consists of four helipads, main runway for small and medium aircraft, aprons, workshops and other facilities. Upon on arrival at the venue, Prince Miteb was received by Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri, deputy minister of the National Guard, and senior commanders and officials. Addressing the opening ceremony, Prince Miteb thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who is the commander of the armed forces, for the big support being given to the armed forces so as to enable them to perform their duty of guarding the nation's security.
