Bangladesh government has no legitimacy

With regard to the article “Third blogger hacked to death in Bangladesh” (May 12), the killing of bloggers is directly related to Bangladesh politics. The present Hasina government in Bangladesh has no legitimacy as it grabbed power by an engineered election in which less than five percent of those eligible voted and half of those elected were unopposed. When the antigovernment protest geared up and the UN tried to resolve the political deadlock, Hasina shifted the focus of the Western world by arranging calculated murders by the dreaded RAB police and party goons.
