Japanese Ambassador's Cup

The Saudi Arabian Karate Federation, General Presidency of Youth Welfare and Japanese Embassy jointly organized the annual karate competition, titled as Japanese Ambassador's Cup in Riyadh recently. Ambassador of Japan, Norihiro Okuda, awarded the prizes to the winners. The event was also attended by Antonio Espinos, president of World Karate Federation (WKF), presidents of Saudi and UAE karate federations and other officials of the federations. Japan is working for the success of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. Embassy of Japan plans to organize sports events this year as a part of the year-long celebration of the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan. — SG
