MAKKAH — The Rector of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri Matouq Assas said male or female students will not face any admission problems for the next 10 years, thanks to a new plan adopted by the university. He said there are future projects for he university campus in Al-Abdiyah and its branches in Al-Jumoom, Al-Leeth, Al-Qunfudha and Adham governorates. The cost of the projects is estimated at SR4 billion. He said the campus for female students in Al-Abdiyah will open next academic year but students will gradually shift to the new campus by the end of the academic year 1436/1437H. After completion, the university campus in Al-Abdiyah will accommodate 90,000 male and female students.
