Saudi Gazette report DAMMAM — The Interior Ministry will deport any expatriate who may constitute a threat to the Kingdom's security without giving any justification or explanation. Quoting an informed source at the ministry, Al-Hayat Arabic newspaper reported on Monday that the ministry will try and deport expatriates who commit any violations. “The ministry will not allow expatriates deported for security reasons to come back to the Kingdom again,” he said. The source said when an expatriate commits a crime that may jeopardize the Kingdom's security, he or she will be handed over to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP) for investigations prior to a trial. He said the court might issue ruling on the case in addition to the expat's deportation after the jail term is served. Asked if the ministry will cancel the residence permit (iqama) of any expatriate with connection to Hezbollah of Lebanon, the source said: “The ministry has the right to prevent any expatriate from staying in the Kingdom and the right to deport him. “In this case, the expatriate will be given time to end his connections with the organization in his country and will be kept under close observation during this time.”
