PORRENTRUY, Switzerland — Michael Albasini of Switzerland won another Tour of Romandie sprint finish, taking the third stage to retain his overall lead Thursday. Albasini, who also won Wednesday and three stages last year, eased past in-form Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe at the end of a 172.5-km route from Moutier to Porrentruy. Damiano Caruso of Italy was third in the same time as Albasini's four-hour ride. With time bonuses, Albasini built a 20-second overall lead from his Orica Greenedge teammate, Ivan Santaromita of Italy, and two-time defending champion Chris Froome of Britain. Froome saw two rivals, Vincenzo Nibali of Italy and Nairo Quintana of Colombia, launch attacks late. — AP
