AL-KHOBAR — Mövenpick Beach Resort Al- Khobar recently hosted a fun-filled day for 12 children and their guardians from the Social Guidance Center in Dammam, a department of the Ministry of Social Affairs. The children enjoyed a day packed with water activities ranging from swimming in the resort's facilities to joy rides on jet-boats. The day ended with a special dinner held at Azure restaurant, featuring Mediterranean and seafood specialties. The resort received a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Social Affairs for the event, which lasted from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. After the event, the children were given Mövenpick memorabilia and souvenirs to remember the enjoyable day they spent at the resort. “We hope the children enjoyed their day as much as we did hearing their laughter, and hope that they visit us again soon,” said Prashant Sharma, general manager of Mövenpick Beach Resort Al-Khobar. “We were honored to participate in this local activity and contribute in a small way to the community. This goes hand in hand with Mövenpick's initiatives for global sustainability and giving back to the communities in which we live and operate.” Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, an international upscale hotel management company with over 16,000 staff members, is represented in 25 countries with 82 hotels, resorts and Nile cruisers currently in operation.
