Bangladesh Consulate General celebrated Bangla New Year Festival “Pohela boishakh”1422 at consulate promises last Tuesday. Traditional handicrafts and food were exhibited at the Festival. Bangladeshi Consul General A.K.M. Shahidul Karim and his spouse Syeda Mahrufa Akter visited the stalls with consulate officers. A large number of expatriate Bangladeshi maked this festival very grandly and enjoyed some Pohela boishakh recipes and food items with some cultural activities. — Photo by Rumi Sayeed
