JEDDAH — Boeing and Injaz Saudi Arabia signs a strategic partnerships agreement with more than SR500,000 to sponsor 20 schools within "Safeer Initiative", aimed at qualifying students and develop their capacities to cope with the job market after graduation.
Nael Samir Fayez, Board member and CEO of Injaz Saudi Arabia and Eng. Ahmed Jazzar, President of Boeing Saudi Arabia, represented the companies in signature of the partnership agreement.
“We have a long history in the Kingdom and throughout this time Boeing has endeavored to be a catalyst for positive change.
We are honored to be able to contribute to supporting the youth of the Kingdom and providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge that will allow them to successfully enter the workforce,” said Ahmed Jazzar.
“Boeing actively supports Saudi development programs with multiple initiatives. The company's objectives align with Saudi National goals: create jobs that promote Saudization, develop technologies that help create new markets, and support communities such as helping students to meet future challenges and allowing them to realize their dream jobs,” he added
Fayez said more than 220,000 students have benefited from Injaz Saudi Arabia's programs since its kickoff and these programs were implemented in more than 700 schools in the academic year 1434/1435AH.
These programs included the implementation of 18 training programs for age groups of 10-24 years, covering more than 50 cities in 25 educational regions.
"The number of training courses provided by Injaz Saudi Arabia totaled 5,347 courses, carried out by over 3,000 volunteers accumulating more than 31,000 volunteering hours," Fayez added.
Injaz Saudi Arabia specializes in qualifying the youth for the job market and it ranked 5th internationally among the most developed countries in student training rate, competing with 121 countries worldwide and ranked first among Arab countries. — SG
