Muhammad has never missed a Haj since his birth six years ago on the Day of Arafah. Muhammad performed Haj every year with his family who lives in Makkah. Earlier, Muhammad's father refused to take him to the Haj fearing the boy would find it difficult to do it this year. Muhammad did not give up to streamline his Haj years. He insisted on his uncle, who never performed the Haj, to put on Ihram and go for the Haj with him.
