Juventus' miedfielder Roberto Pereyra (L) celebrates after scoring during their Italian Cup semifinal match against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Tuesday. — AP MILAN — Treble-chasing Juventus, beaten 2-1 at home in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal, hit back with an emphatic 3-0 victory at Fiorentina to reach the final Tuesday. Alessandro Matri, Roberto Pereyra and Leonardo Bonucci scored the goals as Juventus made light of the absence of the injured Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Stephan Lichtsteiner in a bad-tempered game. Juventus will face either Napoli or Lazio, who meet Wednesday, in the final as they attempt to win the competition for the first time since 1995. Massimiliano Allegri's team also has a 14-point lead at the top of Serie A and has reached the Champions League quarterfinals where it faces AS Monaco. However, it will be without forward Alvaro Morata in the final after he was sent off in the 88th minute for a tackle from behind on Alessandro Diamanti. Six other players were booked. Fiorentina, which handed Juventus its first home defeat for nearly two years in the first leg, had the ball in the net after four minutes but it was ruled out for pushing by Mohamed Salah. Matri put Juventus ahead in the 21st minute, firing home after an attempted pass rebounded straight to him, and Pereyra was first to the ball when Norberto Neto parried Alvaro Morata's shot just before halftime. Bonucci volleyed home the third from a corner in the 59th minute after the Fiorentina defence lost concentration to seal a 4-2 aggregate win. Atletico too good for Sociedad Atletico Madrid moved to within six points of La Liga leader Barcelona thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win over David Moyes's Real Sociedad Tuesday. The champion never looked in danger from the moment Mikel Gonzalez headed into his own net after just two minutes. Antoine Griezmann then doubled the host's advantage against his former club shortly afterwards to end the game as a contest inside the first 10 minutes. Sevilla moved level with Valencia in fourth, just four points adrift of Atletico, with a 2-1 win at Levante thanks to first-half goals from Kevin Gameiro and Jose Antonio Reyes. Barcelona can regain its nine-point lead over Atletico when it and closest challenger Real Madrid are in action against Almeria and Rayo Vallecano respectively Wednesday. At the other end of the table minnow Eibar ended an 11-game winless run to ease its relegation fears with a 1-0 victory over Malaga. — Agencies
