year-old Egyptian woman's hopes of standing on Arafat, the main Haj ritual, were dashed as she had to spend the whole day at a hospital. The woman's nephew said the woman had saved the required money to perform Haj with great efforts but providence had something else in store for her. Ilham Abdul Aal Al-Zar'ee spent all that she inherited from her father three months ago to come for Haj, the nephew said. The woman suffered a fracture in the right shoulder after a fall before the Standing on Arafat and was moved to Namira General Hospital in Arafat and required surgery. She is still convalescing in the hospital.
