Dry climate, heat exposure often cause damage to the skin
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 29 - 03 - 2015

Produced by the sebaceous glands and secreted through the pores, oil can reach excessive levels and cause people to suffer from skin pigmentation, blemishes and acne attacks. It is for this very reason that it is important to remove excess oil from the face through the use of crucial products. Men are not exempted from this cosmetic reality and with their active lifestyle, routine and general biology, they require help that specifically answers their facial needs since female products would not sufficiently meet the demands of their skin, being more oily. This is particularly true for men living in the Middle East where the dry climate and harsh rays from the sun can often cause damage to the skin and extreme oiliness.
According to a Taylor Nelson Sofres study, Arab men and active teenagers who spend the majority of their time doing sports or generally being outdoors, suffer from severe oiliness. This can cause their complexion to appear darker and shinier and also make them more prone to pimples than their female counterparts. The reason for this is because the androgen hormones in men induce enhanced sebum secretion which makes their skin oilier. Too much contact with heat, dust, dirt and smoke from daily transit also darkens the skin, while over-production of sebum dilates the skin pores and causes blackheads. Fortunately, there are ways to battle such nuances and a good cleanse can help remove the dead skin cells that clump together, dulling the face.
Fair and Handsome has found an answer for men in the region struggling with this very problem. As one of the leading and fastest growing personal and healthcare businesses, Fair and Handsome has introduced Advanced Whitening Oil Control Purifying Face Wash, a fast-acting cleansing gel designed to help Arab men combat oiliness which results in acne and darker skin.
Formulated with Lumino Peptide complex with Clearol system, the Fair and Handsome advanced whitening oil control face gel removes excess oils, deeply cleanses impurities, opens pores, makes the skin less prone to acne and pimples, accelerates skin lightening, and leaves the skin bright and shine-free.
Recommended twice a day, preferably in the morning upon waking up and at night before sleeping, simply lather up the gel and massage gently over a wet face then rinse off with water to enjoy a fresher complexion. The Fair and Handsome Oil Control Purifying Face Wash is available in the market at SR10 for 50 grams and SR25 for 100 grams. — SG
