Thousands of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) loyalists are thronging Garhi Khuda Baksh (Larkana) to pay tributes to the hanged former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) on his 29th death anniversary Friday. Organised by the PPP, several caravans have proceeded to Garhi Khuda Buksh from districts, tehsils and cities across Pakistan. Punjab's biggest caravan, led by Ghulam Abbas, started its journey from Lahore. Another group, led by Haji Azizur Rehman Chan, left by train. Other caravans from Lahore were led by Mushtaq Ahmad Awan, Sajida Mir, Faiza Malik, Talat Yaqoob, Zikrya Butt and other Lahore-level leaders. Many PPP loyalists also left for Garhi Khuda Baksh on special trains, buses and private vehicles. The first death anniversary of ZAB following the assassination of his daughter and former premier Benazir Bhutto (BB) will see a large number of functions organised across Pakistan taking place alongside the main event at Garhi Khuda Baksh, where both are buried. Numerous caravans from Rawalpindi, Okara, Gujranwala, Kasur, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Khushab, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Vehari, Burewala, Khanewal, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur have also departed for the Bhutto's ancestral hometown. In different cities, the PPP set up welcome camps for supporters. The Pakistan Railway Police and other law enforcement agencies have tightened security arrangements at the stations, and special male and female officers of the railway police have been dispatched on all special and routine trains headed from Punjab to Sindh. Police in Sindh also finalised security arrangements which include the installation of more than 15 walkthrough gates, scanners and jammers around ZAB grave and the stage on which the main function will be held. The Sindh police deployed about 5,000 police personnel in addition to which the PPP will have 800 security volunteers on hand. __
