The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry(JCCI) will start to train 10 Saudi females to work in real estate marketing domain after Eid holidays, a move considered as a first important national step to encourage Saudi women to work especially in the business sector. “The new task for Saudi females to work in real estate marketing will be appropriate as a new domain”, said Najah Shabrawi, director of Al-Arabic Forum College. She said the real estate marketing for Saudi women is desirable as women are preferable to talk with women especially in matters of knowing the gender's needs and likes is choosing a villa, apartment or house. These 10 Saudi women will be trained in marketing at colleges in cooperation with JCCI for them to eventually find work in companies. “Saudi women will get courses in the art of marketing, methods in offering and selling lands and functional behavior which involves communication skills between the employee and the boss,” Shabrawi added. Abed Al-Aqqad, executive manager in Saudization sector at JCCI, appealed to the private sector to give a chance to Saudi females to get jobs. On the qualifications to enroll in the course, Aqqad said she has to be over 18 years old, indigent, and does not have other jobs to work on. He added that the human resources fund will contribute to pay the expenses for training Saudi women. “About 75 percent of the fund will be paid to train Saudis and the other 25 percent will be covered by the owner of a company once they are qualified to work,” said Aqqad, adding that the monthly salary of these Saudi females will range between SR2,500 to SR5,000. __
