A caravan of ambulances carrying 11 pilgrims, who were hospitalized at King Fahd Hospital in Madina due to health problems during their journey to perform the Haj rites, is scheduled to leave Madina Friday. Hasan Bin Hamid Al-Bakri, Director of the Ministry of Haj Madina branch, said that these hospitalized pilgrims would be transported in special ambulances supplied with all the latest equipment. The caravan will leave Madina at 8.00 A.M. for Makkah, and each patient will be accompanied by a specialist male nurse throughout the Haj period and during their trips between the holy sites to perform their rites. These patients are being transported to Makkah at the expense of the Ministry of Health, which will also bear all expenses for their trips between the holy sites. The patients will not incur any costs due to their health condition. All the requirements for performing the Haj rites and the return of the pilgrims to King Fahd Hospital in Madina to complete their treatment will be provided.
