Raheb helped Al-Ahli win a third GCC Champions League crown after the Jeddah club beat Al-Nasr 2-0 in the second-leg of the final in Riyadh, Wednesday. Al-Raheb, who scored the lone goal in the first-leg match, was the hero again as he put his side ahead before substitute striker Badr Al-Kharishi helped Ahli seal the win 10 minutes from time. Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, Chairman of the General Presidency of Youth welfare and head of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, handed over the championship trophy and gold medals to Al-Ahli players. Al-Ahli also won $500,000 first place cash prize, while Al-Nasr took home $250,000 and the silver medals. Al-Raheb succeeded in breaking the deadlock in the 69th minute when he ran through two defenders before shooting the ball in the far right of Nasr keeper Kamel Al-Wabari. Al-Nasr then tried to take control but Al-Ahli substitute Badr Al-Kharashi killed the Riyadh side's hopes with the 81st minute goal. Al-Kharashi got the chance to net the ball after Malek Al-Hasawi's shot hit the post. Al-Nasr came into Wednesday's game under pressure as it had to equalize the first-leg score before thinking of sealing the win. Rayan Bilal and Mohammed Al-Shahrani tried their best to put pressure on Ahli from the start but the Jeddah club proved to be quite a handful for them. Ahli midfielder Mohammed Masad was the first to pose a threat to Nasr but his long-shot went wide. Al-Nasr responded a minute later but Brazilian Alton's free kick was checked by Al-Ahli's Yasser Al-Musailem. Malek Al-Hawsawi should have found the net midway through the first half after a solo attempt but advancing Al-Wabari saved the situation. Nine teams from five GCC nations participated in the event. The semifinals were slashed after two Kuwaiti teams were suspended by FIFA thereby setting up an all
