If men knew as much about themselves as women do about them, the world would be a different place. But the problem with many men is that they think they know women well and do not need to understand how their brains work. Men focus on the reality of women as if this reality reflects their true nature even though history has shown that societies have distorted and, in some cases, destroyed the image of women and their creative natures. Women have the capability of being mothers while men do not. Here, I am talking about creative feminine energy, which some women have lost due to fear. When fear creeps into the mind of a woman and overwhelms her because of society and men, she has stopped being creative. This is the same fear men have about successful women and it is the same fear that has made men oppress women throughout history. Dr. Ratib Al-Ghothani, professor of literary criticism at Damascus University, said that women and men did not live in fear in ancient times, which is why men and women lived in perfect harmony. The real problem started when men wanted to have the upper hand and to control women. Today, the modern man is involved in a struggle with women over social roles. As a result, the woman is the biggest loser because she has already lost her creative feminine energy and is now fighting men and society at the same time. Undoubtedly, women have been oppressed and suppressed more than men have. They have been victims of patriarchal and social practices in societies that do not guarantee freedom to all members. Oppression against women should stop; anyone who encourages such practices is considered an advocate of these practices and someone who wants fear, not justice, to prevail in society.
