The Ministry of Interior has invited 79 martyrs' families to perform Haj this year at its expenses, according to the instructions of Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Interior, authorities said. The 395 pilgrims will be under close supervision of Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs. The ministry has contracted a local Haj company to fully organize the Haj journey with best services for the pilgrims including their accommodation, meals and transportation, said Col. Obaid Al-Baqawi, chief of the Martyrs' Families Social Care Department at the ministry. Each family would be allowed to bring five members to perform Haj, making the total number of 395 pilgrims, he said. The ministry's special gesture shows its utmost attention and appreciation for the families of security officers killed trying to combat forces of terror in the Kingdom, he said.
