Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is arriving here on Sunday on a day's visit while Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will travel to the Kingdom next week. Sisi will meet Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and discuss the means of enhancing bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of common concern, the Saudi Press Agency said on Saturday. The discussions will tackle the means of avoiding the negative impact of Yemen's instability on the security of Gulf states and the Red Sea as Yemen's Mandeb strait is a strategic link between Egypt's Suez Canal and the Indian Ocean. The Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in Cairo in March, is also on the agenda of the visit, according to a statement issued by Sisi's office. The Pakistan Prime Minister's Office in Islamabad said in a statement on Saturday that Sharif is visiting Saudi Arabia at “the special invitation” of King Salman. Sharif is expected to discuss important bilateral and regional issues with King Salman. Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Riyadh on Saturday on an official visit during which he held talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. During the meeting, bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern were discussed.
