The head of the British Haj delegation Lord Adam Patel has announced that around 25,000 British pilgrims will be performing Haj this year. About 1,000 British pilgrims have already arrived in Makkah, he said adding that about 28,000 pilgrims performed the Haj last year. Ten British doctors and other medical staff will provide health services to the pilgrims, he said. All the pilgrims coming from Britain have received training on the Haj rituals and security and health aspects, Lord Patel said.
