ABHA — A three-car pileup on Mahayil Asir-Jeddah highway resulted in the death of four passengers, including a woman, Thursday afternoon. Spokesman for the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Asir Province Ahmed Ibrahim Asiri said the operations room dispatched three teams of paramedics to the scene immediately after receiving a report on the accident, which took place near Jabal Bariq Recreation Park. One of the cars was carrying a couple while the second car had two people inside. All four died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the third car was missing from the scene and a search was under way to locate him.
