RIYADH — Nine members of the Shoura Council took oath of office in front of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Thursday. The new members are Khaled Al-Sabti, former Health Minister Mohammed Al-Hayazie, former Agriculture Minister Walid Al-Khuraiji, Mohammed Al-Sager, Saad Al-Huraiqi, Nasser Al-Dawood and Abbas Hadi, the Saudi Press Agency reported. King Salman issued on Saturday a royal decree appointing them as members of the Council. Crown Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz and Shoura Council President Sheikh Abdullah Al-Asheikh were among those who attended the ceremony.
