RIYADH — As many as 334 courts in various parts of the Kingdom have been linked electronically with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) to obtain quick data on the bank accounts of people who are bound by court verdicts to pay a certain amount of money in fines. Judges of the executive courts have been given absolute power to deduct the amount of the fines from these accounts or freeze them permanently.
