RIYADH – Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, honored Mobily for its continuous support provided to "Mawadda Charity Association” activities and programs. The celebration was held on Feb. 16 in the headquarters of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu in Riyadh on the occasion of the conclusion of the first session of the Board of Directors. The event was held in the presence of Prince Bandar Bin Musaed Bin Abdulaziz, Prince Abdullah Bin Musaed Bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, Minister of Social Affairs and Dr. Bandar Al-Aiban, President of Human Rights Commission of Saudi Arabia,
Meshal Al-Rubiaan, Acting Executive General Manager, Corporate Communications & Public Relations, received the honorary shield on behalf of Mobily. He expressed his gratitude to Princess Sara Bint Musaed Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Mawadda Charity Association, for honoring Mobily, looking forward that cooperation will continue in the future. Al Rubiaan added that social responsibility is a broad concept carries a human dimension that is felt by everyone in the community towards his homeland and citizens, and that the adoption of this concept will enhance the coherence and cohesion. Al Rubiaan lauded the role of Mawadda Charity Association through adopting many distinctive programs, and certainly the (legal incubator) initiative will contribute greatly in supporting the community with qualified female legal advisors in fields of personal status on the one hand and issues of providing safe and qualified refuge for divorced ladies in particular and for women looking for legal and legitimate advice. “Mawadda Charity Association provides a series of courses for men and women in order to enrich the family members with new knowledge and skills to be capable to resolve family disputes and strengthen the family relationship between the parents, as well as provide training and employment service for divorced ladies and their children. The legal incubator program sponsored by Mobily aims to train the distinguished Saudi female graduates from the sections of law and Shariah for a period of 4 months for free in return of providing legal advice to any Saudi lady or a mother of Saudi children facing family issues such as divorce, alimony and custody and utilize “Mawadda Charity Association” to get their rights. — SG
