The 12th Administrative Circuit at the Board of Grievances in Jeddah has fixed Dec. 28 as the deadline for looking into a case filed by a citizen against Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and a car dealer. Mansour Fayiz Al-Asmari has filed a lawsuit against the JCCI for enabling a car dealer to include his name in the list of debt defaulters without presenting legal documents supporting the claim. Al-Asmari has asked for SR10 million in compensation for the false claim and incorrect information provided against him. Awad Ahmad Al-Habeeli, Executive Director of Cases and Systems Center in JCCI, said the chamber did not restrict the plaintiff's activities and the one who listed him in the black list was the dealer and not the chamber. Fahd Asiri, the company's attorney, said the dealer blacklisted him on the ground that as the director of the company he stood guarantee for the company's employee.
