Coke Studio's rendition of “Who rule the world” is finally here. Atif Aslam has joined hands with Strings for 2015's edition of the world cup with “Phir se Game Utha Dain”. The song starts off with Atif Aslam's voice, as it should. From “Aye jazba junoon” to peppy “Khel rahey hum rangon mai”, Pakistani music has always played a huge role. Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood, producers of Coke Studio brought together artists to make an almost three minute long song. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film is based on Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Set in Kashmir, Shahid Kapoor plays Haider, the male protagonist, who is in search of his father who has ‘disappeared'. The talented and versatile actor worked hard for this film and this award was long due. Accepting the Black Lady, Shahid said he could not believe it. Rekha presented the award for Best Actress to Kangana Ranaut forQueen. But since she was absent, Vikas Bahl came on stage to take it on her behalf. Tabu was presented with a Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for Haider, by Shahid Kapoor, who played Tabu's son in the film. Qawali maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan released another soothing number for Sonam Kapoor's ‘Dolly Ke Doli'. Waqar Ali recorded a song with Sunidhi Chauhan for Pakistani movie. Other than Chauhan, ‘Aashiqui 2′ fame singer Palak Muchhal and Indian Idol contestant Mohammad Irfan have also been approached to record songs with Pakistani composer. Soch' boys Adnan Dhool and Rabi Ahmed bagged Best Music Award for their debut music composition, Awari, in ‘Ek Villain'. Pakistan's first ever animated series Burka Avengers Season 2, which is all set to hit the small screens from February 1st on Nickelodeon Pakistan, has lately released a brand new song adding to the promotions of the anticipated series.
