Kareena goes mental in new film

MUMBAI — In her next, Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a mentally ill patient.
The untitled film by Rajkumar Gupta is allegedly based on a real life incident, where a mentally ill patient released from an asylum who finds herself embroiled with the underworld.
According to the director, the film explores section 84 of the Indian Penal Code, which states that a person of an unsound mind can be deemed not guilty of criminal acts. The film will reportedly go on floors this April.
Kapoor is currently shooting for Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" with Salman Khan. — SG
