Prisons, governorates to be linked

TAIF — Prisons all over the Kingdom will soon be linked electronically with the governorates of various provinces and regions as well as with the Ministry of Interior and the Directorate General of Prisons to expedite the processing of inmates' paper work. Director of Prisons in Makkah Province Maj. Gen. Musfir Al-Sawwat told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that the new system would end the delay in processing official documents of prisoners. He said the paperless system would also end the problem of data of prisoners being sent from multiple sources.
