JAZAN — A man from an African country who allegedly stabbed his compatriot to death has been arrested, according to Jazan Police spokesman Maj. Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani. The victim was killed during a quarrel that started while he and a group of his compatriots, the suspect included, were playing cards. The suspect told police that he and the victim were both drunk when the fight broke out and he was hit in the head by the victim. Investigations showed that all men involved were undocumented workers who illegally crossed into the country. Police are also investigating a polyclinic that treated the suspect for a head injury but failed to report him to authorities.
