Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain offers exciting packages for families
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 01 - 2015

With the holiday festivities spilling over into January, The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa has prepared a full schedule of exciting family activities and holiday packages this month, promising plenty of fun for kids and adults of all ages.
Holiday events kick off on Jan. 16 with the Ritz Kids Camp from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day until February 14. Ideal for the young traveller, Ritz Kids allows parents to enjoy a well-deserved break whilst witnessing their children develop new skills and interests. The adventure begins at check-in, when kids receive a scavenger hunt map of the hotel premises that will help them explore and learn about its storied history. Young guests will then take part in a variety of games and team games conducted by the hotel's Royal Sporting Club. Each day offers a set of unique activities focusing on one of the four pillars of Ritz Kids - water, land, environmental responsibility and culture. The Ritz Kids program will also offer children unique travel experiences such as camelback rides scheduled for Jan. 16 and Feb.13, or a sandcastle competition on Jan. 30.
To reminisce on their adventures of the week, kids and adults can congregate at the Overlook Café on Jan. 23, 24 and Feb. 20, 21 for the Movie Under the Stars nights. Guests can leave queuing woes behind and enjoy viewing blockbusters on giant screens set-up against the dramatic backdrop of the Gulf Sea and the Manama city skyline. With sessions for adults and children - two sessions at 5 p.m. for kids and 8 p.m. for adults – the entire family can enjoy the experience whilst the Overlook team looks after popcorn, snacks and beverages.
Crowning the line-up of activities are the ‘Layali Wanasah' nights by Ritz-Carlton on Jan. 20, 21 and 22 at Al Khayma. Families and friends are invited to revel in the specially decorated tent, and savor the best holiday memories and the most lavish buffet spreads, complimented by the spirited music of three Arabic singers: Ammar Alfardan, Abdulla Baqer and Noor Abdulla. Guests can enjoy a heartwarming live show featuring a repertoire of Saudi, Bahraini, Lebanese and Moroccan songs, whilst experiencing a slice of local culture. ‘Layali Wanasah' is priced at BHD25++ per person including entry to Al Khayma, buffet and soft beverages. Family friendly price of BHD12.500++ per kid will apply for children aged 4 to 12, while infants below 4 will dine complimentary.
For guests looking for a comfortable and easy holiday plan, the ‘Layali Wanasah' Package starting from BHD180++ per night, includes Deluxe accommodation, Wanasah Nights buffet dinner in Al Khayma, and breakfast in La Med for two persons. — SG
