LONDON — The current and former world record-holders in the men's marathon will go head-to-head for the first time in the London Marathon in April. Race organizers announced Wednesday that record-holder Dennis Kimetto will compete against defending champion and fellow Kenyan Wilson Kipsang on April 26. Kimetto broke Kipsang's world record last year, clocking 2 hours, 2 minutes, 57 seconds in winning the Berlin Marathon in September. Kipsang held the previous mark of 2:03:23, set in Berlin in 2013. The two training partners have never faced each other over the marathon distance. It will be Kimetto's first appearance in the London Marathon. Kipsang will be running London for the fourth time. – Reuters
