JEDDAH — SAE Institute Jeddah has participated in Colors of Saudi Arabia Forum 2014 held at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) last month – the first and the largest national forum for photography and its uses in the marketing of national tourism and awareness of the importance of media in the region. The idea of organizing the forum came as an activation of the commission's mission towards promoting the domestic tourism, marketing the touristic destinations and products that are replete in the Kingdom's districts as well as highlighting the distinguished diversity within. The forum also came as an encouragement and motivation to the creative professional photographers and amateurs to highlight the Kingdom's touristic locations, heritage, antiquities, diverse natural environment and cultural advancement, the objective being supporting and activating the domestic tourism industry. The Institute's experts delivered 3 workshops on the sidelines of the forum, which included Sound Engineering, Film & TV Production, and Digital Animation. Dalia Binladin, Managing Director of Seyada for Creative Arts, that initiated the project of SAE Institute Jeddah, has praised the Colors of Saudi Arabia Forum organized by the Saudi Commission of Tourism & Antiquities in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture & Information and the efforts of Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, the President and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA). The forum coincided with the mobility of the commission in a number of paths to inform the citizens about their homeland and support domestic tourism. Dalia Binladin said: “This participation comes within SAE Institute's framework of the adopted plan in Jeddah to support the media education in the Kingdom and to inform about this technological edifice through this important annual forum, as well as highlighting the disciplines our Institute provides." She added: “We have been keen to participate in this forum to inform the attendees about the latest technologies and studies offered by the Institute such as; Audio Engineering, Film & TV Production and Digital Animation. We have noticed a great response from the attendees towards the workshops provided our lecturers and professionals. This institute is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
