QUNFUDAH — A young man was airlifted Saturday to Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah after he was involved in a traffic accident, according to local Health Affairs spokesman Ibrahim Al-Mathami. The victim was traveling at a high speed when he lost control and crashed right into a vehicle that was parked on the side of a main street in the city, eyewitnesses said. Paramedics rushed to the scene shortly after the accident had been reported and rushed the unconscious driver to hospital. He was admitted to intensive care but his condition worsened, leading doctors to order a quick referral to a specialist hospital to save his life.
