QATIF — Security forces have arrested a man who appeared on a list of 23 most wanted people in connection with the unrest in Qatif, Eastern Province, the Interior Ministry announced. Montadhar Ali Saleh Al-Sbaiti was captured on Thursday night in Awamiya village, the focal point of protests in early 2011, during a security operation. The 23 wanted men, some of whom have been arrested or killed, are accused of acting on behalf of foreign parties to foment unrest in the region. The Saudi Press Agency, quoting the Interior Ministry spokesman, said no one was hurt in the operation. The security forces will track down the other suspects who wanted to wreak havoc in the country, he said, urging them to surrender.
