RIYADH — Another Pakistani national convicted of heroin smuggling was executed in the Kingdom on Thursday, the Interior Ministry announced. The sentence against Mohammad Fayad Mohammad Azam was carried out in the capital Riyadh, the ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. Thursday's execution brings to 10 the number of Pakistanis executed in the Kingdom for drug trafficking since mid-October. The ministry said the government is battling narcotics because of their great harm to individuals and society.
