Saudi executed for drug trafficking

RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior on Tuesday executed Saudi citizen Nasser Bin Amiq Ali Al-Enizi convicted of smuggling a large amount of amphetamine pills. Al-Enizi confessed to his crime and the General Court issued the death sentence. The Court of Appeals and the Supreme Judicial Council upheld the sentence. The execution took place in the northwestern city of Jouf.
